Physicochemical Property
Xylitol has the appearance of white crystalline particles or crystalline powder. It is as sweet as sucrose and can be easily dissolved into water (around 160g/100ml), slightly dissolved into ethanol and methanol. Its melting point ranges from 91℃ to 96℃,boiling point at 216℃, heat value 990Kj/100g.
Product Features
Xylitol has very low calories, leaving a cool feeling in the mouth. It can accelerate the proliferation of bifidobacterium without being fermented by yeast. It has very good moisture retention and it is heat resistant, stable with acid, alkali and will not cause maillard reaction.
